This CD is amazing. Panic! At the Disco has really proven what they are about. This CD has something that all music lovers can enjoy. The tunes are catchy and the lyrics actually mean something. The song "Lying is the most fun a girl can have without taking her clothes off" is the best song I have heard in a while. It demonstrates the furies of being a teenager and early love. The songs on this album have an early 1900's vibe to them. This brings out this group's individuality. This group is one of the most promising groups in a very long time. These days kids are listening to rock songs about death, depression, and slitting your wrists. All realistic but these songs are based on the non-emo part of the generation. It shows that teenagers have issues that do not have results that require rehab: drugs, sex, love, alcohol. All real stuff that we can relate too. If you get the chance this album is absolutely amazing. Go out and get it!

FI has once again proven that they are about more than just blood, sex and rock & roll. AFI's Davey Havok has once again proven that his vocal abilities are more refined then just screaming into a mic. In "Prelude 12/21" he proves that he can do more than just scream. Jade Pudget's guitar abilities are once again proven in "Kill Causic". It goes without saying that Hunter and Adam were amazing. This CD is an amazing opportunity for young adults to realize that life can be unfair but it is proven that everything can be fixed with a nice hour of music. Amazing CD.

Review: Ah, Martha Wainwright, the pressure was on her as she released her lackluster debut album. I was very excited about the release--- Time Magazine gushed about her single Bloody Mother******* ***hole. It got me pretty pumped to hear it. And boy was I disappointed when I finished the album. All she did was whine and try to make things that didn't rythme carry lyrical value through a deep throated scatting kind of thing. All of the songs sounded the same--- all using acustic guitar. All of it--- I don't know if it's fictional or her singing out of her dairy but it's all whinning, whinning, whinning.
Boohoo, Martha Wainwright, Boohoo.
Too bad you don't have half the talent as your brother

The moody and dark debut of New York's Interpol is one of the best albums of 2002. Guitarist Daniel Kessler's downstrokes along with singer/guitarist Paul Bank's monotone voice, remind the listener of the legendary post punk band Joy Division. Interpol are not imitators but definatly an artist of their own. The laid back opening track "Untitled", sets steers "TOBL" in a direction of greatness. "PDA" explodes with pounding drums and sets a sarcastic tone into the air as Banks states in a Morrissey type manner, "Yours is the only version of my desertion." "TOBL" does not just focus on darkness and sarcasim but brings much emotion to the table. Tracks like "NYC" and "Leif Erikson" are bold exclamations of love and appreciation. If you are a Joy Division, The Smiths or The Fall fan, you will probably be fond of this album.

"Antics" is Interpol's sophmore album following their debut release, "Turn on The Bright Lights." Interpol are often compared to other post punk bands like Joy Division and The Fall. The new york group definatly expand their horizons on this album. "Antics" is much more spacious than "Turn on The Bright Lights." It tends to be foot-tapping and catchy at times. Songs like "C'mere", "NARC" and "Slow Hands" highlight a more pop sided element in Interpol's sound. The moody and dark material is still here with tracks like, "A Time To Be So Small" and "Length of Love." Antics was my favorite album of 2004, and I always find myself listening to it.

Review: ok this is like the best cd ever. if you like that whole punk pop rock thing, you'll totally love this cd. it has many hits like "Ocean Avenue" and "Only One" which many fans love but while you listen to the cd, try to check out other songs that arent as popular in the radio world. One of my faves is "View from Heaven". Its a really cool cd and its awesome to listen with your friends or whenever your feeling down.

Review: This cd was awesome! I loved how it was put together, and the beat of the songs. My favorite song is "Holiday/ Boulevard of Broken Dreams." The beginning of "Boulevard of Broken Dreams starts off a little strangely, but it is one of my favorites. "Holiday" starts off fast, and it continues that way. I love the backround music in it. I would say that out of all the cds by Green Day, this was the best. Now, they are getting back into the swing of things and making music that will please many teens. It is just recent that they have become noticed throughout the country.

Review: This record was surprisingly well done. I was especially impressed of the fact that Kanye West bounced right back to the music industry after living through that horrible accident. Maybe the title of his CD is to reflect on the fact that living through the wire was hard for him and maybe that's why all his work and talent was dedicated to his comeback record. After the hit of his single "Slow Jamz" featuring Twista was a huge success, Kanye West shows his talent was not wasted on a hospital bed. Other songs such as "Jesus Walks" and "All Falls Down" show us a different beat and his reflection of life. Others songs in which he was featured in such as "Talk About Our Love" by Brandy or "Selfish" by Slum Village, were slow and rhythmic, which shows a different side, than the fast and frighteningly impactful song "Jesus Walks" in which he expresses his feeling of how he needs Jesus in order to get through life. Over all, this CD was worth his suffering during his tragic accident.
