Did you know that the Young Adult Services Department has an academic Test Prep area that houses materials relating to standardized test preparation? Located outside TeenSpace in the circulating stacks, this area contains books that help students prepare for tests such as Regents exams, Advanced Placement exams, and the SAT. Review books for entire courses, such as Biology, Spanish, and Math A are also available in the Test Prep collection.
Frankenstein: A Kaplan SAT Score-Raising Classic by Mary Shelley
This book offers a creative approach to vocabulary building for the SAT exam. This edition of Shelley’s classic novel includes a glossary on the left-hand page of the text that corresponds with SAT words found in boldface throughout the text on the right, helping students learn more than one thousand words frequently appearing on the SAT exam.
