What is T.A.G?
T.A.G. is the Port Washington Public Library’s Teen Advisory Group. It’s a group of volunteer members who work with the Young Adult Librarians in TeenSpace to improve and enhance the teen library experience for all teens in the community.
Who should join?
A student in grades 7-12 who is a resident of the district. A person with ideas about what young adults need and want in the way of informational, educational and recreational materials and services. Someone who wants a chance to voice their opinions and have them listened to and acted upon.
How often does T.A.G meet?
Members meet once a month either in-person or online to suggest teen programs, books, magazines and ideas. Members also advise on how to best meet the needs of teens.
