Onderdonk Farm Cottage, 1890s

A little house built on Onderdonk Farm for African-American workers and their families.  The farm was situated beyond the present Post Office building.

Old Free Church, Port Washington’s first church, was built in November 1906 near Mill Pond.  Services were held for whites and African-Americans.
