School Age Programs

You must register online for programs that require registration.

Due to high demand and limited space, we ask that you arrive at least 5 minutes before the program for which you are registered to claim your spot.
If you do not arrive 5 minutes before, we may transfer your spot to someone on the waiting list.

Book Discussion and Author Visit with Beth Ain

Kids in grades 4 through 6 are invited to celebrate National Poetry Month with Port resident Beth Ain, author of several books for children, including the Starring Jules series. Participants will discuss Beth’s newest book Izzy Kline Has Butterflies, a heartwarming novel told in verse. Participants will receive a new copy of Izzy Kline Has Butterflies, which the author will sign during her visit.
Online registration is limited and begins April 11.

Plant Your Own Vegetable Container

1:30 pm - 2:30 pm

Children in grades K to 6 are invited to bring their moms (or favorite adult) and enjoy a special activity on Mother’s Day!
A representative from Plant A Row for the Hungry Port Washington will teach participants how to grow vegetables at home and how to share any excess with Port families in need. Each child will bring home their own plant.
Online registration begins May 1.
