Time Capsule

Come celebrate the opening and closing of the Time Capsule! In 1992, the library commemorated a centennial time capsule that would represent Port Washington for the next one hundred years. Twenty-five ten-year-olds won a contest to serve as keepers of the capsule for the first twenty-five years, after which they would pass the torch to a new generation. Now, new keepers have been selected and will add new items to the capsule, which will be reopened in twenty-five years!

On December 6, certified lactation consultant, Beverley Rae will give tips and techniques on breastfeeding.
On December 13, certified CPR/First Aid instructor, Ildi Catuogno will explain the essentials for keeping your newborn safe.
