Reilly) sets out to fulfill his dream of being a hero, but his quest wreaks havoc on the arcade where he lives. SANDWICHED IN: The Red Fox On Long Island. The sole canine predator on Long Island, the red fox has been drastically reduced in the last 20 years. Recently, they have been adapting to change, rebounding and expanding their range. Frank Valenti, director of the Wild Dog Foundation, will discuss the ecology of foxes, their behavior, their importance to the Long Island ecosystem, how they may lessen Lyme Disease, and how to coexist with them. 12:10 p.m.

When reformed gunman Cain (Clint Walker) is released from prison after 18 years, he wants to settle down as a rancher, but first he must accept the offer of showman Ruffalo (Price) to perform as “Killer Cain” in a traveling shooting show. HAPPY BIRTHDAY, PETER CUSHING! British actor and horror cinema icon Peter Cushing was born on May 26, 1913. We remember him with a screening of Nineteen Eighty-Four (1954-107 min.), in which he stars as George Orwell’s everyman hero Winston Smith, who lives in a dystopia where falling in love is a crime. Andre Morell, Yvonne Mitchell and Donald Pleasence co-star in this rare British telefilm, which was scripted by Nigel (Quatermass) Neale for producer Rudolph Cartier. 7:30 p.m.
