HAPPY BIRTHDAY, EDMOND ROSTAND! We celebrate the French playwright’s birthday (April 1, 1868) with a screening of his beloved play, Cyrano de Bergerac (1974-150 min.). Peter Donat plays the long-nosed, silver-tongued swordsman, who woos the fair Roxane (Marsha Mason) for his tongue-tied fellow soldier Christian (Marc Singer), even though he loves her himself. William Ball and Bruce Franchini directed this Broadway Theatre Archives selection. 7:30 p.m.
