FILM MOVEMENT FILM FESTIVAL: Prairie Love (2011-81 min.). As a mysterious drifter (Jeremy Clark) travels across the wintry North Dakota prairie, he finds a man (Garth Blomberg) lying unconscious in the road and stops to lend a hand. After defrosting, the man explains that he’s on his way to meet his pen-pal girlfriend (Holly Lynn Ellis) for the first time, as she’s being released from prison. Desperate for a gal of his own, the drifter hatches a plan to steal his new companion’s identity. Director Dusty Bias scripted and produced this dark comedy with Ashley Martin Bias and actress Ellis.
