SANDWICHED IN: The Patsy (1928-77 min.). Patricia Harrington (Marian Davies) is the patsy in her family, the forgotten good girl who watches her flirtatious sister Grace (Jane Winton) attract all the young men. But when Grace two-times her current beau Tony (Orville Caldwell), Pat seizes the chance to attract Tony by taking on the personas of movie stars Mae Murray, Lillian Gish and Pola Negri. Agnes Christine scripted this charming romantic comedy, with intertitles by Ralph Spence, from a play by Barry Connors. King Vidor directed. Silent with orchestral score. 12:10 p.m.
