DRIVER EDUCATION: Registration begins May 8 for a class to take place Saturday, June 16, from 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. This is a 6-hour course open to people of all ages. Those who take this course may be eligible for a 10% discount on vehicle liability, personal injury protection and collision insurance premiums for 3 years, and a reduction of 4 points from their driving record. A check for $28 payable to Empire Safety Council is due at registration. This course is for Port Washington residents only.
