3RD THURSDAYS @ 3: The Renaissance Portrait from Donatello to Bellini. During the early Renaissance, artists working in Florence, Venice and the courts of Italy created magnificent portrayals of the people around them, concentrating for the first time on producing recognizable likenesses and expressions of personality. A special exhibition at the Metropolitan Museum of Art through March 18 brings together works by artists including Donatello, Filippo Lippi and Botticelli. Join Ines Powell for an exploration of this genre. 3 p.m.
