SANDWICHED IN: Picasso at the Metropolitan Museum of Art. Lecturer Vivian Gordon introduces this summer’s landmark exhibition, the first devoted exclusively to the Met’s extensive collection of the artist’s work.  The show encompasses the entire length and breadth of Picasso’s career, from portraits done in Barcelona while he was still a teenager, to his Blue and Rose periods, Cubism, the return to the classicism of the 1920s, through the Musketeer images created in his final years.
